Jason writes; "I discovered the pleasure of painting and art, when I became aware I had dyslexia. It gave me the confidence and strength to overcome the problems that dyslexia brings in the modern world. I was mainly self-taught, but I've taken advice and guidance from Phil Tyler, a prominent and accomplished artist who studied under Robert Lenkiewicz.".

After exploring different genres of art, a family move to Cornwall helped me realise where my heart lies. It was the peace and tranquillity of the stunning Cornish landscape that engulfed our new family home, which gave me the inspiration to create works of art that leads you into Cornish landscape. In whichever direction you look, at any given time the landscape of Cornwall is always going to be a source of inspiration for me. My first solo Exhibition was in 2003 and I continue to exhibit where I can.
