A stellar opening event with not one, but two recent winners of the UK's most coveted Poetry Prize, The T.S. Eliot. England's David Harsent, winner in 2014 for Fire Songs, and Northern Ireland's Sinead Morrissey, winner in 2013 for Parallax, are, quite simply, two of our finest poets. Harsent has published eleven collections of poetry, and written the libretto for many musical works including several collaborations with Sir Harrison Birtwhistle. Mossissey's five collections have garnered an impressive array of awards, and she lectures in creative writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre, Queen's University, Belfast.
