The British Shakespeare Company present A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Much Ado About Nothing, two of Shakespeare’s best loved romantic comedies. 

The cast also stars Mark Arden, Steven Blakeley (Heartbeat), Daniela Lavender and Gabriel Thomson (My Family).

Performed in beautiful Elizabethan costumes by a cast of sixteen of Britain’s finest professional Shakespearian actors the shows will include live music and hilarious comedy. A magical open-air
festival of love, laughter and amorous adventure, performed by a company that continues to delight audiences and critics alike.

Sterts amphitheatre helps recreate the type of theatrical environment for which Shakespeare  would have written his plays.
